David was on line and found a flag that he liked, but it was no longer available. So, we decided to make it out of wood and paint.
4' x 8'
We got creative in our front yard with the skeleton crew. At the carnival, the skeletons were sitting in lawn chairs and the children loved them.
You are probably thinking, what does this have to do with quilting. The math was tricky, but my long quilting ruler (with multiple markings) and blue tape were the perfect solution for marking all those lines. Bless the person that invented blue tape. It marked my ruler and after David painted the board orange, it taped off the lines to paint the black stripes.
I, also, used my ruler and blue tape to mark a 4' x 4' Plinko board. David had the fun of hammering all those nails in. This is before the top was painted different colors and the bottom tray was added.
This is a picture of one of our neighbor's yard. Look closer in the pumpkin area. There is a skeleton coming out of the lawn and two skeletons climbing the fence. Too cute!
