Finally finished my Monopoly Quilt.  I have had this fabric forever and am so glad to use it. This one stays with me.  I love the striped binding.

I made this scrappy disappearing nine-patch quilt for the Nursing Home.  My Quilt Guild adopts 2 to 3 nursing homes a year and supplies a quilt to each resident.

Using 1.5" Fabric Scraps To Make A Very Scrappy Quilt

One of the ladies in my Quilt Guild made an awesome quilt made from 1.5" wide scrap fabrics.  I had to make one.
She got her idea from a blog post on My Quilt Infatuation.

Be sure to check out my Youtube video below to see how I made mine.

This is the beginning of mine.

The center of my quilt.  Love these ladies and had to use them.

This is the quilt made by Jean that caused several of us to make one.

Below is a link to my Youtube channel.  In this video, I show how to make your own beauty.

Granddaughter's Graduation Quilt

My Granddaughter, Ava, graduated from high school this week.  We are so proud of her.  Of course, Grandma had to make her a quilt to mark the occasion.  Just as I did for my daughter and son years ago.
She likes Rainbows (colors and quilting motif) and Sunflowers (backing fabric).

There were 884 in her class and her last name starts with V.

A close-up of her smiling face.

Sunflower Quilt for Ava

My Granddaughter, Ava, graduated from High School in 2021.  She loves sunflowers and rainbows, so I incorporated these things into her quilt.  She is my mini-me and my Sunshine.

It is quilted in rainbows.

The back is Sunflowers.

I also purchased this quilt for her because it was so perfect for her.

You are my Sunshine.

Humans make my head hurt.
